Designed With Privacy in Mind

Arthena Receipt Capture is deliberately designed without a central Arthena receipt-processing service.

Receipt text recognition is performed on your Android device.
The app does not require an Arthena account.
Your chosen destination email address is stored locally on your phone.
Arthena Receipt Capture does not ask for or store your email password.
The app prepares the email and hands it to your chosen email application.
Your email application is responsible for actually sending the message.
